We loved our stay at Whaleshark Beach and are super happy about our decision as we think it is one of the best or even the best hotel on Dhigurah. My partner has a dairy allergy and we could easily speak to the chef everyday to make clear that the food does not contain any of these. That was amazing. You can fill up your water bottle in the hotel, which seems like a small benefit but it is actually huge as you do not have to go to a store everyday and carry big bottles in the heat. The rooms, the wifi, the staff, everything was really nice. And the hotel has probably the best tour guide and crew you could ask for. We did two full day tours and saw a whale shark, Mantas, turtles and more. We loved that we do not have to jump off the boat. They had a leather or you could easily go from the end of the boat as it was almost the same hight as the water. Again, seems like a small thing but for us it was a big advantage.

They even surprised us with a cake in our room to celebrate our honeymoon, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with all the necessary amenities. There was hot water (though occasionally it got quite hot, so finding the sweet spot was key), and we loved that we could connect our Netflix or Prime profiles to the TV for a relaxing evening. One detail that stood out was the complimentary water fountain available for guests to use, such a refreshing change from places where you're charged for bottled water. The flexibility offered with the excursions was fantastic; it allowed us to enjoy plenty of snorkeling and spot all the local wildlife. We truly wished we could have stayed longer to soak up more of this amazing experience!

The food at the hotel was delicious, and we enjoyed every meal. The hotel’s location was excellent. We also appreciated the various excursion options available, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the Wi-Fi was very fast, and the take away breakfast provided on our departure day was a thoughtful gesture that we greatly appreciated. Overall, we felt that the hotel offered great value for the price.
